Coach Aaron Bain joined Rice in 2022 and is the head coach of the Rice Boys' Prep Hockey Team. He has been coaching since 2012 and has coached at the NCAA and other developmental levels. He played professional hockey and brings great experience to our program.

The Boys' Prep Hockey Team has players from all over the world: Finland, Hungary, Russia, Canada and the United States too. We have strong team values, support, and deep traditions of success. Our team competes at the highest level challenging opponents in the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL) plus tournaments and exhibition games. We play an average of 40+ games/season which is almost double the amount of games that regional prep schools.

Coach Bain helps each athlete develop their individual skills while also learning systems and concepts that improve team performance and translate to the college and professional level play.
