First RPO Meeting

Dear Rice Families,

We had a great showing for our parent mingle during Back to School Night last week. It was nice to meet new families and reconnect with friends.  In the theme of building our Rice community, we would like to introduce you to the Rice Parent Organization (RPO). The RPO consists of parents of current Rice students that represent all of the classes. 

Our mission is to be the liaison between the parents, school board, administrators and teachers.  Supporting families and making sure that you are heard is a priority. We have announcements, conversations and dialogue that create an avenue to share information.  We provide and receive feedback from everyone.  Building community by planning and helping out with Rice events is another important part of our mission.  

We encourage you to attend our monthly meetings, which are the second Monday of every month at 7pm.  We will be meeting in person at Rice.
