Bogre Named Boys' Basketball Unsung Hero by Burlington Free Press

On February 11th, Daniel Bogre '23 was named a boys' basketball unsung hero by the Burlington Free Press.

"When the season started Rice coach Paul Pecor knew Bogre would factor into the Green Knights' game plan, but the junior has bloomed into a regular in the rotation playing nearly three quarters each game. Bogre takes the scoring pressure off of the Green Knights' guards. 

'I think the first part is he leads with defense and then the second piece of that is he's just adding to the scoring recently,' Pecor said of the 5-foot-11 forward. 'He went from kind of a role guy to now more of a leader and majority guy.' "
