Carstensen and Cunningham Post Strong Finishes in Track and Field

First year student, Elizabeth Cunningham represented Rice at the New England Championship in New Britain, Connecticut on June 11th.  Elizabeth ran a 2:19.38 in the 800 meter, which was good enough for 13th overall and broke Dina John's previously held school record.

Recent graduate, Autumn Carstensen finished her Rice Track career by dominating the second day of the Vermont Decathlon Championships. Autumn took gold in the event, finishing with a point total of 4634 and personal bests in 8 of the 10 events contested.
