Junior Moorea Lambert represented Rice in the state semifinal competition of Poetry Out Loud today, 3/9/23, at the Barre Opera House. Moorea read Israfel by Edgar Allen Poe. Watch her reading on the Flynn's Facebook Live Video (she comes on stage approximately at the 54 minute mark.)
Moorea is one of ten students that has been selected as a finalist and will continue on to the next level and compete again this Thursday, 3/16 at the Flynn. One student will be selected to represent Vermont in the national finals in Washington, DC. We are so proud of her accomplishment!
