Rice Student Receives National Award!

Congratulations to Girls' Prep Hockey player Christine for receiving a NATIONAL award from her home country of Namibia! She was named the Top Female Junior Sportsperson of the Year!!!!! Athletes from all sports are considered for this single award, so it's a huge accomplishment to be selected.

Her mom says it best, "We have a lot of athletes that compete internationally and do well, so to win the award is a great honour and accomplishment. We are extremely proud of her!!! Please take care of my piece of sunshine, I miss her so terribly but am very happy because she is happy!"
