Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Miranda Amos chose to complete her student teaching here in Vermont last fall. After graduating from the University of Idaho receiving her teaching certificate for Secondary Education Social Sciences and Teaching English as a Second Language, she decided to continue to live in the area and substitute teach for the remainder of the school year. She was then elated to be hired on as part of the Rice staff this summer. Other than teaching, Ms. Amos has a passion for travel, outdoor activities, and just about anything sports related.
