Mr. Paul DiFalco has been part of the Rice community and more specifically the Math Department since the fall of 1997. He has spent the majority of his 30-plus year teaching career in a Catholic school and has a real passion for all that a Catholic education has to offer. Mr. DiFalco is also the Rice Varsity Softball coach, is the Adviser to Student Council, and has been the Stunt Night Adviser for several classes. During the summers, he works as the Mess Hall Director (not the chef) at Forest Lake Camp in the Adirondacks. Mr. DiFalco moved to Vermont in 1995 but has never let go of his Long Island roots. He is an avid Yankees fan and, when possible, enjoys Broadway shows, Springsteen concerts, and hitting the golf course. Teaching is what he was born to do and he often says that he can not see himself ever doing anything else. When he first began teaching his cover letter said that "teaching was his vocation" and he believes teaching in a Catholic School was his calling.
