Sharon Boardman has been teaching science at Rice since 1992. After graduating from the University of Montana, she spent ten years working in National Parks and Forests of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Alaska. Sharon currently teaches AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Chemistry. She is the faculty advisor to the Rice Outing Club and Brain Bee Club, and advises student researchers through Vermont EPSCoR. She has a strong interest in the natural world and loves to be outdoors in every season. Her hobbies include gardening, skiing, running, and scuba diving.
