Peter Dresch

2023 will be Dresch’s inaugural season with the Rice Soccer Program. In August, 2023, Dresch will be completing his MBA in Sustainability at the University of Vermont. He will be joining the program in late August, after his first through hike of the Long Trail! Peter grew up in Highland Park, New Jersey. He played club soccer for Players Development Academy in the highly competitive Northeast Academy League from U12-U19 and participated in the Olympic Development Program where he competed at the national level.

Dresch attended St. Jospeh High School in Metuchen, New Jersey where he was the boys’ soccer captain for the 2013-2014 season. He continued playing NCAA Division III soccer at The College of New Jersey from 2014-2018. Dresch was named Rookie of the Year in 2014. He served as captain for the Lions during the 2017-2018 season. Dresch continues to play in various adult leagues in Vermont and was named to the 2023 Adult Twin State Classic - Vermont Team. Peter brings a great deal of experience and knowledge of the game. He is a talented player who has the temperament and characteristics of a promising coach.
