• Mr. Parker also supports Rice's IT, AV, and takes beautiful photographs of most of Rice's special events and athletic competions.
• He volunteers as a Scoutmaster and is an active memer and editor for on the National Federation of High School Association (NFHS) Music Committee

Best vacation/trip you’ve ever been on: Last and only vacation was 1965; 12 day trek at Philmont in 2014 with my youngest son​​​​​​​

Favorite tradition/fieldtrip/project you do in your classroom each school year: Too many to pick a favorite
