Step Up Day is one of our favorite traditions because we get to welcome our incoming 9th grade class! Enrolled students are invited to join us for ice cream, games, and activities with some of our current students. The goal is to have fun, to start getting to know their future classmates, and get excited about what's ahead. They'll also meet their Big Brother / Big Sister. Students will meet in the cafeteria.

(Optional) Parents are welcome to join us for some light refreshments in the main lobby and visit the book fair in our library (where you can pick up items from the Summer Reading List or something new to enjoy - just for fun). It's a great time to meet other parents and members of our school leadership team. A few members of the Rice Parent Organization will also be there to welcome you.
